Manny Miyar is a conservative Christian with an unshakeable faith in the Lord and what He can do in the United States and the rest of the world. Having been born in Havana, Cuba, his parents moved Manny and his sisters to Miami in 1961 where Manny and his family became American citizens soon afterwards. Later on Manny graduated from Louisiana Tech with a Bachelors degree in Aeronautical Engineering and Florida International University with a Bachelors degree in Accounting.
Manny has been involved in the Logistics industry for nearly forty years and served as President of The Council of Logistics Management for two terms and President of the American Chain of Warehouses for one term. In addition to developing numerous corporations in which he is either the President or CEO, Manny also provides consulting services in the Logistics field.
Manny joined Champions of Honor because he shares Chuck Brewster’s vision to equip men to become the spiritual leaders of their homes. "I have lived two separate lives, one before Jesus, and one after Jesus came into my life as Lord and Savior. I have seen how the Lord has changed me, at times with me kicking and screaming as I fought Him to leave parts of my life alone, yet never giving up on me. And He is now using me to share with other men, primarily in the business world, that being a Christian and running a business are not two mutually exclusive issues."
"Our country is in trouble because the family unit is under a relentless attack by our enemy, the devil. He sees that the fastest way for him to destroy that family is for the man of the house to relinquish his responsibility to that family unit. So it is imperative that we as men take that responsibility the Lord has commanded us to take, and become spiritual leaders in our homes, businesses, jobs and anywhere He leads us."
Manny and his wife Nancy have five children, eight grandchildren and live in Coral Gables, Florida.
